NBA – Review/Recap – 2010 NBA Draft
Following the NBA finals is almost immediate NBA draft. Of the top five picks in the 2010 NBA draft, here is a quick evaluation.
1. John Wall – PG (Washington Wizards) – Online sports betting star and the number one player and online sports betting star, selected is out of Kentucky. He’s 6’4 196 lb, and he is considered a franchise player. For the Washington Wizards, he will start right away. He has tremendous quickness, overall speed and he will definitely be a force to deal with.
2. Evan Turner SG (Philadelphia 76ers) – From Ohio State, Turner selected number two, 6’7 214 lb, and a player that can do just about anything you ask him to on the basketball court. You probably won’t see him with a bunch of slam dunking highlights, but he is a great asset in the backcourt, and likely a fixture there for a good while.
3. Derrick Favors PF (New Jersey Nets) – From Georgia Tec is the number three selection. In 2010 NBA draft, the 6’10 245 lb Favor’s is the youngest of the top five players. He should easy get up, and down the court without any problems. From put backs and getting dunks, most of his scoring will most likely come. There is room for his offensive game to improve.
4. Wesley Johnson SF (Minnesota Timberwolves) – With a 7’0 wingspan, At number four, is 6’7 206 lb from Syracus. Wesley will see plenty of action on the court in 2010, because of the Timberwolves only winning only 15 games last season. There is a really good chance that he will become one of the top defenders in the NBA.
5. DeMarcus Cousins PF-C (Sacramento Kings) – At number five is another Kentucky product, he is 6’11, 292 lb DeMarcus Cousins. Due to his ability to hit shots, and great rebounding ability, there is a high probability that he will turn into an elite player. There have been some questions about his work ethic, but that will have to play out over the course of the next several seasons to make a decision on that.
