Life with Antwan – Cleveland
Trade between the Cleveland Cavaliers, Washington Wizards, and the Los Angeles Clippers was the big move of the NBA’s trade deadline that has everyone talking about.
Antawn Jamison and the Clipper’s point-man Sebastian Telfair was acquired by Clevelandwhile the Clippers get Drew Gooden from Washington, while the Wizards get Zydrunas Ilgauskas, the rights to Emir Preldzic, and Danny Ferry’s first round pick of the 2010 NBA draft. NBA Basketball Previews are always available.
It looks as though the rest of Zydrunas’s contract is going to be bought by the Wizards and he will re-sign with Cleveland in 30 days time.
Previous to the trade deadline Cleveland had been on a 13-game-winning streak. The Cavs are 1-3 SU since the deadline.
Has Cleveland’s chemistry been funked to a point of worry with this move? Four games is too early to tell, so chances are no. On top of a full week’s rust (Feb. 11th-18th), LeBron and company seem to be coming back around after beating the Hornets 105-95.
With Cleveland’s offense Jamison got into the groove and did have an average showing against the Hornets this past Tuesday going having 18 total points, and 6 rebounds going 7-14 from the field and hitting one deep although he has yet to become part of Cleveland’s so famous pre-game ritual. Until LeBron and Antawn start hooking up for big games and huge victories, it’ll be only a matter of days. Go bet this event with this sports betting group.
