2010 NBA Preview: All-Star Game
On Sunday, the 2010 NBA All-Star game takes place in Dallas. LeBron James is the driving force behind the Eastern conference and is averaging 29.8 points per game this season. James will be making his 6th appearance in the All-Star game and he brings leadership and explosive moves. The East team’s roster will include such stars as Al Horford, Kevin Garnett, Allen Iverson, LeBron James, Dwayne Wade, Dwight Howard, Rajon Rando,Chris Bosh, Gerald Wallace, Paul Pierce, Joe Johnson, and Derrick Rose.
Kobe Bryant will be a major force behind the Western team and will be making his 12th All-Star game appearance. Along with experience, Bryant is a tremendous player with clutch capabilities and has averaged 28 points per game. The Western conference will include Kobe Bryant, Carmelo Anthony, Steve Nash, Tim Duncan, Amare Stoudemire, Kevin Durant, Pau Gasol, Dirk Nowitzki, Chauncey Billups, Zach Randolph, Chris Kaman, Chris Paul, Brandon Roy, and Deron Williams.
Coaching the Western team will be George Karl and coaching the Eastern team will be Stan Van Gundy. Carmelo Anthony will be making his 3rd appearance in the All-Star game and is averaging 29.7 points per game. Both teams should make for an interesting night in Dallas as are filled with top athletes.
